“The holiday season just got merrier for Vonage subscribers,” said Vonage America, Inc.’s president Michael Tribolet in a statement. “New subscribers not only get Vonage’s flat rate, feature-rich telephone service so they can call all their friends and wish them happy holidays, but they can also pick up some great gifts at Circuit City.”
Circuit City will make this offer available for customers until December 2, 2006 in stores located in the U.S. When customers purchase Vonage-enabled devices they can also activate their phone service immediately in-store. Upon activation and commitment to one year of service they will receive a $200 gift card instantly.
“This exclusive promotion gives our customers a great reason to sign up for Vonage at Circuit City and get a head-start on their holiday shopping. Our Product Specialists are ready to answer questions that customers may have about Vonage and help them sign up for the service in-store,” stated John Kelly, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of Circuit City.
Today’s news follows Vonage’s announcement earlier this month about its VoIP

service coverage area expansion allowing three-quarters of a million more Ontarians to
replace their traditional phone service with Vonage. The VoIP service provider expanded its coverage area to now include 14 new communities across the Canadian province.
More than 750,000 Ontario residents across the Niagara Region and North of Toronto have now been added to Vonage Canada’s coverage area. The 14 new communities newly added include Aurora, Campbellford, Fort Erie, Galt, King City, Maple, Milton, Newmarket, Niagara Falls, Oak Ridges, Peterborough, Port Colborne, Waterdown and Welland.
